Graphic Sniper ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Messages App (the "App"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App. By using our app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App's functionality:

  • Collected Data: The App allows you to manage device sms data, use it as default sms application, managing sms, display conversations, chats & scheduled messages. All chat and conversations related data, including contact name, mobile numbers, conversation details, messages, blocked numbers, and other related details, are stored locally on your device and not shared with third parties.

  • App Usage Data: We may collect anonymized app usage data, such as which features are used and how often, to improve the App. This data is collected through third-party services like Firebase Analytics and does not personally identify you.

  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, such as hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers. This data helps improve the performance and compatibility of the App.

2. Data Storage and Security

All data related to messages and contacts is stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this data on external servers. Any analytics data collected through third-party services (e.g., Firebase) is anonymized.

We employ appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption and regular security audits. However, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

3. Payment Terms

  • In-App Purchases: We have multiple active  in-app purchases available to users such as remove-ads, premium-lifetime etc and purchase price vary from country to country.

  • Google Play In-App Payments

4. Cookies

The App itself does not use cookies, but third-party services like Google AdMob or Firebase Analytics may use cookies to collect anonymized information. You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Google Ads: We use Google AdMob to display ads in the App. AdMob may collect data to serve personalized ads, including device identifiers, usage data, and location (if permitted). You may adjust your ad preferences in the device settings.

  • Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase to collect unidentified app usage data, such as feature engagement and crash reports, to improve the App's performance. This data does not personally identify you.

  • SDP & SSP: We use SDP("com.intuit.sdp:sdp-android") & SSP("com.intuit.ssp:ssp-android") to manage responsive and flexible user interface across different device ratios and sizes.

  • Glide: We use Glide("com.github.bumptech.glide:glide") to display any images/media within App efficiently.

  • Timber: We use Timber("com.jakewharton.timber:timber") to put logs within App efficiently.

  • Dagger: We use Dagger("com.google.dagger:dagger") to manage dependencies within The App efficiently.

  • RxJava: We use RxJava("io.reactivex.rxjava2") to handle data flow dynamically and manage asynchronous data processing within The App.

  • Rx Preferences: We use Rx Preferences("com.f2prateek.rx.preferences2") to handle data storage that would easily be adapted with Rx java code.

  • Lib Phonenumber: We use io.michaelrocks:libphonenumber-android to identify duplicate numbers efficiently.

  • Realm Db: We use io.realm:realm to store and manage data locally on your device such as conversations, messages, blocked numbers, scheduled messages, archived chats and other related data. This does not store or transmit your contact data to any third parties.

  • Conductor: We use com.bluelinelabs:conductor to manage and maintain code structure clear and organised within The App.

  • Uber Autodispose: We use com.uber.autodispose:autodispose to automatically bind+dispose RxJava streams.

  • PhotoView: We use com.github.chrisbanes:PhotoView to easily manage zooming images easily within The App.

  • Facebook Shimmer: We use com.facebook.shimmer:shimmer to show animated progress in order to improve user experience.

  • Shortcut Bagder: We use me.leolin:ShortcutBadger to show count of unread message counter on app icon shortcut.

  • Dexter: We use com.karumi:dexter to manage and handle smooth and seamless request of runtime permissions.

  • String Obfuscation: We use io.michaelrocks.paranoid to secure and obfuscate strings and texts used within The App for enhanced data and code security.

5.1. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Exercising Your CCPA Data Protection Rights

In order to exercise any of Your rights under the CCPA, and if you are a California resident, You can email or call us or visit our "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" section or web page.

The Company will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving Your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonable necessary and with prior notice.

7. Permissions Requested

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Notification Access: The app may utilize the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission to send notifications related to incoming and/or outgoing messages, or other relevant app updates. These notifications are solely for the purpose of enhancing your user experience within the app.

  • Alarm Access: The app may utilize SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM permission to provide user access to schedule messages feature.

  • Contacts Access: The permissions READ_CONTACTS may be required to access your device's contacts such as contact name, contact number, contact picture etc locally on your device in order to display and manage contacts, contact details, sending messages to any saved contact from your device etc. We do not store or transmit your contact data to any third parties.

    • SMS Access: The permissions READ_SMS, RECEIVE_MMS, RECEIVE_SMS, WRITE_SMS and SEND_SMS may be required to access your device's messages locally on your device in order to let user send messages, manage and display conversations & chats. We do not store or transmit your sms data to any third parties.

    • Phone Call Access: The permissions CALL_PHONE and READ_PHONE_STATE allows the App to make calls based on user selection from contact details screen.

    • Storage Access: The permissions READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES & READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED may be required to allow users to video images if there are any within chat list and/or select images to send through message.

    • Network Access: This may be required for serving advertisements. It is also necessary for Google AdMob, Firebase, and other third-party services integrated into the App.

    • Wake Lock Access: The permissions WAKE_LOCK may be required to show allow users to send receive messages through notification and to keep device screen on.

    • Modify Audio Settings Access: The permissions MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS allows the App to change ringtone for incoming calls, mute/un mute audio while ongoing call.

    • Vibrate Access: The permissions VIBRATE may be required to vibrate phone in the events of incoming call based on user's customization.

    • DataSync Foreground Service Access: The permission FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC may be required for starting and managing restore and backup even if the App is closed. We do not store or transmit your personal data to any third parties.

    • Overlay Access: The permissions SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW may be required to show chat bubbles over any app which is a feature for better user experience.

    • Boot Completed Access: The permissions RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED allows the App to reschedule any scheduled messages after device restarts.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All Application data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device. Any data collected by third-party services is subject to their data retention policies.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

10.Detailed Information on the Processing of Your Personal Data

Service Providers have access to Your Personal Data only to perform their tasks on Our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may use third-party Service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.
